Care Where You Are is a fast-growing private-duty home care agency serving seniors across Southwest Michigan. We are looking for a motivated new college graduate who wants to build a career in finance, accounting, and operations with direct mentorship from the CEO.
Experience less important then a competitive drive and culture fit. Willing to fill with a recent college grad or someone more experienced.
This is a leadership-track position, ideal for someone who wants to learn quickly and take ownership of important financial processes in a growing business. The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities as this position has growth potential including leading teams.
Position Summary
The Financial Operations Lead will manage core accounting and financial tasks including payroll, billing, invoicing, and reporting, while also supporting budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and business analysis.
This position can be based in Kalamazoo or Decatur, depending on candidate preference.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll using QuickBooks Online
Manage billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable
Track expenses and process vendor payments
Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI dashboards
Prepare weekly performance summaries for leadership

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience.
Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Willing to learn QuickBooks Online (training provided)
Organized, dependable, and proactive
Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Excited for a role with growth and increasing responsibility
