An international industrial machinery manufacturer in the Farmington Hills, MI area is seeking a Service Engineer who is responsible overseeing installation of test equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with dynamometer test equipment.
Responsibilities for Service Engineer Include:
- Plan and coordinate and supervise installation of dynamometer equipment to customers' specifications
- Prepare installation detail, including bidding documents and the selection of contractors
- Inspect and confirm incoming equipment
- Assess site conditions to determine installation procedures and cost estimates
- Provide on-site support for installation work when necessary
- Prepare reports related to installation
Requirements for Service Engineer Include:
- Prefer at least an Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of related service engineering and project management experience
- Experience with dynamometer test equipment
- Experience in industrial equipment installation
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Japanese language skills is a big plus
- Ability to travel up to 80 percent
- Must have valid driver’s license
