Job Summary
We are looking for a Full Time Lead Designer to lead luxury residential projects in San Diego, Orange County and LA.

If you are a Type-A personality who thrives off checklists (my love language) but also have that creative vision and know how to project management large scale renovations and new builds - I want to meet you!

The Role: We need someone who can take a project from concept to install without hand-holding. You need to have that “get-er-done” mode but still deliver a client experience that feels like a warm hug.

We take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Qualifications

Local to San Diego CA (Hybrid schedule: Solana Beach Office + Job Sites throughout San Diego, Orange County and LA)
Currently working as a lead designer
6+ Years Experience in High-End Residential
Confidence to lead projects & manage contractors (no shy vibes!)
Proven ability to independently lead projects from concept through completion
Strong knowledge of architecture, construction process, and materials
Keen design eye aligned with KHI’s aesthetic
A design eye that speaks Organic Modern x California Coastal x Traditional x Vintage Eclectic
Excellent communication and client relationship building skills
Thrive in fast-paced environments
Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
Proficiency in SketchUp & Studio Designer a plus
