Overview
We are seeking a talented Residential Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating innovative and functional design solutions for residential projects, transforming client visions into detailed plans and visualizations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for aesthetics, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members to deliver exceptional results. Designer will use Chief Architect program and work in our office.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive residential design concepts that align with client preferences and project requirements
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using industry-standard design software
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle considerations
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and adherence to codes
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality
- Prepare presentation materials to communicate design ideas clearly and persuasively
- Stay updated on current design trends, building codes, and sustainable practices to incorporate innovative solutions into projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential interior or exterior design, portfolio showcasing relevant work
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations related to residential construction
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for innovative residential design
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will also be considered
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $40,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
