Client Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Automation Specialist with 5 - 9 years of experience with UiPath and the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Salary/Hourly Rate: $70/hr - $80/hr
Position Overview: In this role, the Automation Specialist will design, develop, test, and deploy new automation solutions to help drive digital transformation and process optimization. The Automation Specialist will also troubleshoot and resolve any potential issues with existing automations already in production.
Responsibilities of the Automation Specialist:
- Automation Development:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath to streamline business processes.
- Build custom applications and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps and Power Automate.
- Integrate automation solutions with various data sources and systems (e.g., SharePoint, SQL Server, APIs).
- Ensure scalability and reliability of automation processes.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights and monitor automation performance.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough testing of automation workflows to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and post-deployment.
- Implement error-handling and exception management mechanisms.
- Monitoring and Maintenance:

- Monitor and maintain deployed automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance to adapt to process changes or system upgrades.
- Collaboration and Training:

- Work closely with IT, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide training and support to end-users on using automation tools and solutions.
- Gather feedback from users to improve automation processes.
Required Experience/Skills for the Automation Specialist:
- UiPath:

- Proven experience in designing and deploying RPA solutions using UiPath.
- Strong understanding of UiPath components (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots).
- Microsoft Power Platform:
-
- Proficiency in building custom apps with PowerApps.
- Experience creating workflows and automations with Power Automate.
- Strong skills in developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Programming and Integration:

- Knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C#, or Python.
- Experience with APIs, JSON, and web services for system integration.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Automation Specialist:
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA), UiPath, PowerApps (Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification is highly preferred.
