About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled financial leader to oversee and elevate our company’s financial operations. This role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping—it requires a strategic thinker who can design and implement financial systems that drive efficiency, accuracy, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-charge bookkeeping: Ensure all transactions are properly categorized and reconciled daily.
- Monthly financial reporting: Prepare and deliver P&L statements, closeouts, and reconciliations.
- Financial consulting & projections: Provide insights on revenue, expenses, and long-term financial planning.
- Internal controls & compliance: Establish and maintain strong financial controls, manage accounts payable, and support reporting requirements for financial institutions.
- Budgeting & tracking: Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets to align with company goals.
- Debt & capital support: Advise on financial products, credit opportunities, and capital strategies.
- System improvement: Create and implement better purchasing processes, reporting structures, and financial efficiencies.
- Cost savings & accuracy: Drive organizational improvements that ensure accuracy of financial data and deliver measurable savings.
- Technology & platforms: Utilize QuickBooks for accounting and demonstrate strong proficiency with multiple communication and business platforms to streamline processes and collaboration.
Qualifications
- CPA or CMA designation required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial experience.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, controls, and process improvement.
- Proven ability to design systems and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong technology skills across multiple platforms.
