Accounting Manager
Salary $100-125k
Summary:
The Accounting Manager will manage the accounting team, and ensure accurate
financial reporting, focusing on both standard accounting functions and industry-
specific financial aspects, including client billing, payroll, and regulatory compliance
within the healthcare sector.
Reports to the CFO.
This position will be In-Office for 3-6 months, then offer some hybrid flexibility.
Hours 40-45 per week; prefer early arrival.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily GL, AP, AR, collections, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Consolidation of 2 companies.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP.
- Develop and implement internal controls and efficient accounting policies/procedures.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, serving as a key liaison.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership for business planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
4+ years of accounting experience, including some supervisory experience
Proficiency with accounting software
Strong Excel skills
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
