We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a dynamic production environment and is passionate about improving how things are built. This role focuses on optimizing processes, supporting new product introductions, and developing smarter, more efficient manufacturing workflows. You’ll work closely with operations, engineering, and automation teams to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and bring innovative ideas to life on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) by developing scalable production methods, documentation, and process controls.
- Design machine layouts, workstation setups, and production flow improvements that optimize space and safety.
- Collaborate with automation and robotics teams to integrate material handling systems, automated equipment, and vision systems into manufacturing operations.
- Utilize SolidWorks to design components, fixtures, tooling, and layout models that support production and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or process engineering role.
- Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies and data-driven problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with production equipment, automation systems, and material handling technologies.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks for design, modeling, and layout development.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams.
- Working knowledge of process documentation, SOP creation, and safety best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
