Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Residential Real Estate Appraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will evaluate residential properties, prepare accurate appraisals, and provide comprehensive reports to support real estate transactions, financing, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of real estate valuation methods, financial analysis, and relevant regulations such as Fair Housing laws. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced tools and data collection techniques to deliver precise property valuations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to gather data on size, condition, and features.
- Analyze market trends and comparable sales to determine property value
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports that include financial analysis and supporting documentation
- Stay current with industry standards, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting real estate valuation
- Maintain accurate workfiles in accordance with the USPAP Record Keeping Rule.
Experience
- 2 years of minimum residential real estate appraisal experience.
- Demonstrated competency on 1004, 1025, 1073, 1004C residential appraisal forms.
- Only considering those who are wanting to or working toward their appraisal license or someone who is currently licensed.
- Proficiency in Total A la Mode is not required but preferred.
This position is for someone who really wants to be an appraiser or someone who currently is an appraiser. We are willing to teach and willing to learn in order to grow together. If you do not have an interest in obtaining a license this is not the position for you. We are looking to aggressively bring on highly motivated and talented individuals who want to be in the real estate appraisal industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40 per week
