We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable accounting & finance manager to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting our organization's operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts promptly.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Manage invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
Payroll Processing
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain employee payroll records and address payroll-related inquiries.
Budget and Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasting financial trends.
- Provide periodic financial reports and analysis to management.
Compliance and Taxation
- Assist with preparing and submitting tax filings, including sales tax and annual returns.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a accounting & finance manager or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
