A well-established Skilled Nursing & Healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple facilities. This is a confidential executive-level role for a candidate who brings strong healthcare finance experience and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial statements and regulatory reporting.
Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Review financial performance of multiple facilities and support strategic decisions.
Supervise accounting staff and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
Work closely with auditors, outside accountants, and corporate stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
Prior healthcare or long-term care financial experience required.
Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and consolidated reporting.
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
