Qualifications
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you are responsible for developing detailed, accurate estimated costs for projects, development of quotations, and assisting in concept development of custom automation machinery for our customers.
Duties
- Prepares estimates by projecting the costs associated with a project or machine, with an emphasis on accuracy and ensuring profitability of projects.
- Visits customers and provides technical support to sales to facilitate closing business.
- Provides documentation that will support the estimate.
- Provide an accurate description of quoted concepts and attend contract review and acceptance meetings, if appropriate.
- Generates or assists engineering with the conceptual design of a project or machine.
- Communicates with vendors and customers and all levels of staff.
- Maintains and make recommendations for improvements to estimating procedures and methods.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in mechanical or electrical design of automation machinery.
- BS in EE, ME or IE or equivalent relevant experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Mechanical engineering: 5 years (Preferred)
- Industrial engineering: 5 years (Preferred)
- Electrical engineering: 5 years (Preferred)
- Machine design: 5 years (Required)
