About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team and work on advanced Display Systems. This role involves defining system-level requirements, resolving integration challenges, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the certification process.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
- Design and analyze system-level requirements for hardware and software.
- Develop and maintain system software requirements.
- Collaborate with software development and verification teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across hardware and software.
- Coordinate with flight control system interfaces.
- Support hardware/software checkout and system bench development.
- Investigate and resolve integration challenges and customer-reported issues.
- Drive enhancements and continuous improvement for Gulfstream and other programs.
Must-Have Skills/Qualifications
✔ Systems engineering experience with display systems.
✔ Strong background in defining and analyzing system-level requirements.
✔ Hands-on experience resolving hardware/software integration issues.
✔ Familiarity with tools like multimeters, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
✔ Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with customers and stakeholders during certification.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
✔ Advanced degree in Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
✔ Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
✔ Knowledge of avionics certification standards.
✔ Ability to solve complex technical problems within schedule and budget.
✔ Integration and test experience in lab or flight environments.
✔ Familiarity with configuration management tools (ClearCase/ClearQuest).
✔ Background in debugging/testing avionics systems using simulation or hardware-in-loop environments.

Pay Range Minimum: $ 88,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $ 134,000 perYear

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
