We are supporting a leading engineering firm that specializes in the design of Real-time Embedded Software for high-stakes industries. This is an opportunity to work on state-of-the-art safety-critical systems, specifically within avionics and medical instrumentation. Full Lifecycle Development: Execute complete software development, from defining system requirements to final installation.
High-Integrity Coding: Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code for complex functional systems.
System Integration: Integrate software components into fully functional systems and develop comprehensive verification plans.
Verification & Testing: Utilize automated systems testing to ensure software functionality and maintain detailed documentation.
Tool Deployment: Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics to optimize performance.
U.S. Person Status: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or hold protected status (asylum/refugee).
Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Object-Oriented languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
Industry Standards: Familiarity with software development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum.
Sector Experience: Prior experience in Avionics software development or Flight Controls is highly preferred.
Nice to Have: Knowledge of the DO-178 development standard and prior experience with embedded software.
