Cold Weather Accessories Designer to join their expanding team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $30/hr - $35/hr
Position Overview: This Cold Weather Accessories Designer supports the design and development of women's accessory collections, with a focus on hats, scarves, and gloves. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and present concepts directly to retail partners, managing multiple projects under tight timelines.
Responsibilities of the Cold Weather Accessories Designer:
- Design women's cold-weather accessory collections from concept through production.
- Adjust, refine, and develop seasonal prints as needed.
- Apply strong technical design skills and trend awareness to all deliverables.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Production and Merchandising teams.
- Present design concepts directly to retail managers and buyers.
- Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ensure all designs meet quality standards and brand expectations.
- Maintain proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Required Experience/Skills for the Cold Weather Accessories Designer:
- Proven experience designing cold-weather accessories (hats, scarves, gloves).
- Strong print adjustment and development skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Cold Weather Accessories Designer:
- Experience presenting to retail buyers or senior leadership.
- Background working with large retail accounts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design is required.
