DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Asheville is looking for a motivated design consultant to join our growing team. This role combines sales with design guidance; helping homeowners through the remodeling process from first consultation to signed contract. What You’ll Do
- Meet with homeowners to understand their project goals, lifestyle needs, and budget
- Guide clients through the design process: layouts, materials, finishes, and product selections
- Prepare and present proposals and estimates
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility and smooth handoffs
- Build relationships with clients through trust, professionalism, and clear communication
- Stay on top of design trends, materials, and remodeling best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in sales, design, or remodeling (kitchen & bath preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to guide clients through design decisions with patience and confidence
- Knowledge of interior design concepts, finishes, and materials (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to read drawings and scopes of work
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
