Job Title: Business Execution Consultant
Must be local to: CHARLOTTE NC 28202
Contract Length: 18+ Months
Pay: 65 an hr on W2
This role supports data-driven decision-making by analyzing complex datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable business and technical requirements. The position partners closely with Product Owners and technology teams to define, document, and deliver well-structured JIRA features and user stories. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong SQL proficiency, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to analyze large and complex datasets.
- Analyze technical and business problems to identify root causes and recommend actionable solutions.
- Synthesize information from multiple sources to create clear business requirements, standards, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define and document JIRA features and user stories for technology teams.
- Develop and manage features and user stories in JIRA based on independent research and analysis.
- Provide clear, concise written and verbal updates on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Proactively identify, track, and escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Support collaboration across business, product, and technology stakeholders.
- Ensure analysis and documentation adhere to organizational standards and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including query writing and optimization.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing datasets and translating insights into business and technical requirements.
- Hands-on experience creating and managing JIRA features and user stories.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a financial services or other regulated environment.
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery methodologies.
- Experience partnering with Product Owners and technology delivery teams.
