Job Title: Systems Engineer I

Location: Rice Creek MN

Our Fortune 100 Medical Device company is looking for a Systems Engineer I. The person who takes this role will be expected to perform analysis and repair of electrical and mechanical systems to support daily operations. A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Makes minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Minimum Requirements

· Completed or working toward an bachelor’s degree within electrical or mechanical engineering, or a bio medical related degree

· An independent person who wants to grow and learn on the job

· Hands-on experience and comfortable navigating the unknown

Nice to Have

· 1-2 years of working experience within a related role

· Database logging and tracking

· Experience reading schematics and troubleshooting electronic circuits

· Solid technical ability, equipment setup, and troubleshooting skills

· Experience following and developing procedures for preventative maintenance

· Medical Device industry experience or knowledge
