Landscape Design & Sales Position (Entry Level)

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, entry-level individual to join our growing team in an entry level Landscape Design & Sales role. This position offers hands-on training and cross-functional experience, with a clear path for growth into an independent landscape designer within 1–3 years.
Responsibilities
- Train under an experienced designer/landscape coordinator to create proposals, drawings, and customer contracts
- Assist with estimating project budgets, labor, and material costs
- Communicate with customers regarding project timelines and landscape inquiries
- Support office operations including scheduling, billing, cost tracking, and data entry
- Assist with garden center operations as needed during peak seasons (cashiering, stocking, marketing, and clerical support)
- Learn plant materials in nursery and perennial departments
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree in landscape design, horticulture, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape design, horticulture, or related field
- Familiarity with plant materials
- Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, or similar design software
- Prior landscape design or sales experience (not required; training provided)
