Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Working foreman to lead and oversee the installation of Wallcoverings and a New Product Line. As a Working Forman you will install, coordinate and supervise a crew, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely project completion. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of covering multiple surfaces of interior and exterior finishes, transforming blueprints and schematics into stunning, functional spaces. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise finishing crews.
- Coordinate daily work schedules, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to accurately execute finish work.
- Monitor quality control standards to ensure finishes meet design specifications, the highest quality, and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, change orders, and daily reports using construction management tools.
- Oversee material procurement, inventory management, and ensure proper use of tools.
Requirements
- Must be a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with proven experience installing wallcovering materials. This role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to outstanding quality and craftsmanship in every project.
- Experience supervising and leading finishing crews or similar teams on multiple projects.
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and project manuals.
- Proven construction site experience with strong skills in quality control, team management, and professional client communication.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with project management platforms such as Procore or RedTeam, as well as scheduling software, is a strong plus.
- Position may require some overnight travel.
