What We Need:
We are looking for a Sales Data Analyst to be the engine behind our data-driven decision-making for the Americas Industrial business unit. In this role, you won’t just "process data"—you will translate complex sales information into the strategic insights that empower our leadership to win. The is an onsite role based in Milwaukee WI.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Support the design and maintenance of our point-of-sale (POS) databases and ETL processes using Google Big Query (SQL). Take a hands-on role in the development, management, and auditing of complex datasets and business processes to ensure seamless integration across our global business systems. Act as the lead auditor for sales information, proactively identifying discrepancies in the ETL lifecycle and implementing automated fixes to maintain high-quality reporting.
- Collaborate with IT to integrate new data sources, ensuring our reports and processes evolve alongside the business’s needs. Use your ability to articulate root causes and present well-reasoned solutions to explain the "why" behind data integrations and reporting changes to stakeholders in Sales and Finance.
- Synthesize sales data from diverse platforms into actionable insights that drive commissions and initiatives. Transform raw data into compelling visual narratives using Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets to empower sales leadership with real-time performance tracking.
- Own the integrity of our data ecosystem by maintaining rigorous business rules and governance through clear, accessible documentation.
- Conduct high-impact, ad-hoc analyses on complex datasets to answer critical questions regarding customer trends, market shifts, and product performance.
- This role serves as a critical bridge between technical and business teams, interacting primarily with Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, IT, and Finance to ensure data alignment and strategic clarity.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
- This is an entry-to-mid-level position; we are seeking candidates with less than 5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or mathematical field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance).
- Basic to intermediate skills in Google BigQuery (SQL), including joining tables and managing relational databases.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas).
- A natural "why" seeker who enjoys digging into complex datasets to find the "how".
