Department Overview
The Brand Marketing department is responsible for the Mercedes-Benz brand presence and growth in the US. Its mission is to protect, promote, and elevate the Mercedes-Benz brand and sub-brands through innovative, integrated communications that drive awareness, consideration, purchase, and loyalty.
This team leads the development and execution of multi-channel marketing strategies, including social media, digital and traditional advertising, media sponsorship activations, internal content and dealer/regional marketing. It ensures brand consistency and luxury positioning across all touchpoints, while leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance.
Job Overview
Mercedes Benz USA is seeking a Brand Marketing Intern to support our mission to promote and grow the Mercedes Benz brand across North America. The role will support the Brand Marketing team deliver innovative, data driven marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and Tier 3 channels—spanning social, digital, and traditional media—and contribute to the planning and execution of new model launches and sales campaigns as well as always on content.
This internship is ideal for a self starter who is equal parts creative storyteller and analytical thinker, excited to learn how a luxury brand orchestrates integrated communications from Tier 1 through dealer (Tier 3).
Responsibilities:
- Campaign support: Assist with planning, trafficking, and QA for integrated campaigns (social, digital, video, OLV, and select traditional).
- Help manage timelines, status docs, and asset trackers to keep campaigns on schedule.
- Social media: Review copy, build content calendars, route assets for approvals, and support growth of MBUSA accounts.
- Content production: Coordinate deliverables for photo/video shoots and short form content; support versioning for various platforms.
- Measurement & insights: Analyze campaign performance, help build reports, and summarize learnings to inform optimization and creative iteration.
- Market & competitor scanning: Monitor competitive activity, cultural trends, and platform shifts; compile POVs to inform messaging, targeting, and creative.
- Cross functional collaboration: Partner with Media, Retail Marketing (Tier 3), Corporate Communications, and Legal to ensure alignment on messaging, measurement, and governance.
- Agency/vendor coordination: Help route briefs and feedback to external agencies
Qualifikationen
Qualifications / Education:
To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior or rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.
Preferred concentration of study:

- Communications

- Related field.
Desired Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong written storytelling and concise presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn) and emerging formats
- Organized, detail oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
Additional Information
During this 8.5-week summer internship, you will be required to work onsite 4 days a week at our Sandy Springs, GA headquarters.
