Job Description
As our studio continues to grow, we’re excited to welcome a Design Assistant who is eager to learn, contribute, and support a Senior/Junior Design team. This role focuses on providing the seamless execution from concept through installation in a fast-paced studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible with all steps of procurement process (sourcing, pricing, proposal, ordering, tracking) to ensure on-time delivery - managing vendors and client timelines concurrently.
- Draft and revise AutoCAD plans, elevations, and details with precision.
- Organize and maintain the office and sample library, keeping both physical and digital assets current and well-maintained.
- Assist designers with preparing presentations.
- Assist designers with sourcing and collecting samples.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional work experience in any industry.
- Interior design certificate or degree from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required and demonstrable.
- Internship or at least 6 months experience working at an interior design studio. Procurement experience is preferred.
- Studio Designer a ++.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment.
- Familiarity with additional design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
