We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. You will play pivotal role within our finance and accounting team and be responsible for the duties below.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, profit & loss
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Communicate findings to company through standard and ad hoc reports
- Assist in accounts payable reviewing information is properly recorded containing appropriate authorization for payment
- Prepares all remittance information for payments made matching all checks with remittance
- Perform accounts payable reconciliation monthly, collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation
- Prepare profit and loss models
- Use financial data to understand business patterns and trends
- Responsible for parts of Month End close process and recording necessary journal entries
- Assist in accounts payable reviewing information is properly recorded containing appropriate authorization for payment
- Monitor processing of invoices, ensure timely collection of payments that are 60 days past due
- Preparation of AR reports for month end with bi weekly reviews
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Provide accounts receivable aging reports on a weekly basis
- Generate reports and packets for collections on accounts in default of 90 days or more
Requirements
- Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or related preferred
- 1-2 years previous experience in accounting/finance or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
