Position Summary
The IT Field Technician 2 is an integral part of the Dependable Solutions team. This position mixes business client interaction, desktop support, server support, and help desk.
You will work to foster a positive environment that supports teamwork, collaboration and a high-quality customer service.
Education and Professional Experience
Associate Degree or equivalent experience required. A minimum of 2-year hands-on experience a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with business customers to provide excellent customer service.
Take ownership of tickets assigned tasks and follow through to ensure completion
Perform onsite work required by ticket escalation to Field team
Perform computer installations/migrations
Prioritize daily tasks and tickets.
- Review daily tickets
- Review projects
Work in partnership with the team to identify processes that could lead to an increase in efficiency.
Help determine business customer technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions or escalation to appropriate staff.
Install hardware and software as well as troubleshoot hardware and software problems when they arise.
Test computers peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately.
Upgrade software, patches and operating systems.
Answer tickets and emails pertaining to customers’ technical problems.
Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures carried out.
Provide smart hands for Remote, Server, and Network teams
Take ownership of assigned clients
Work with and lead team on projects
Provide escalation for IT Field Technician 1
Escalate to Server and Network teams accordingly
Utilize resources and delegate appropriately
Develop and lead team on projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:
- Active Directory: 2 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Windows Server: 2 years (Preferred)
- Desktop administration: 3 years (Preferred)
- IT project management: 1 year (Preferred)
