Over the past 10 years, we've partnered with more than 300 clients, delivering rigorous, high-touch work across brand strategy, visual identity, websites, and investor communications, with growing capabilities in video and digital content.
Our team spans the U.S. and Eastern Europe, and we manage roughly 30–40 active client relationships at any given time across both project-based and retainer engagements. The Role
We’re hiring an Account Manager to support the execution and delivery of client work across projects and retainers. This role sits at the center of day-to-day client engagement, internal coordination, and quality control. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, strategy, design, and project management to ensure our clients experience Darien Group as organized, thoughtful, and deeply reliable.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on structure, clarity, and accountability—and who takes pride in delivering excellent work and an excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day execution of client projects and retainer engagements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders, maintaining clear, professional communication at all times
- Coordinate closely with strategy, design, and project management teams to keep work moving efficiently
- Maintain timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple accounts
- Own quality control for client-facing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and polish
- Track next steps, action items, and open questions—nothing falls through the cracks
- Proactively flag risks, issues, or scope concerns and help resolve them before they escalate
- Support senior account leadership with reporting, documentation, and process adherence
- Contribute to Darien Group’s expanding digital offerings (SEO, email, LinkedIn, AI-enabled workflows) by being digitally fluent and curious
- Uphold the agency’s standards of service, organization, and client experience in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in an agency, consultancy, or client-services environment, OR entry-level okay, with significant internship experience
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and complex deliverables
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—highly detail-oriented, clear, and concise
- Strong organizational instincts; deadline-driven and process-minded
- High emotional intelligence and strong client judgment
- Comfort juggling multiple accounts and priorities without losing polish
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern digital marketing concepts and tools (SEO, email platforms, LinkedIn, AI-powered workflows)
- No background in private equity or investment management required—we’ll teach you the industry
Team Structure & Culture
- You’ll report to the Director of Accounts and work closely with the Managing Partner
- You’ll collaborate daily with U.S.-based Strategy and Sales teams and Ukraine-based Design and Project Management teams (English fluency throughout)

- Our New York City presence is recently hybrid, and our office is new. We're looking for applicants with an interest to gather in person.
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 / yr
