We specialize in delivering high-impact design and consulting services across a diverse set of projects. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Survey Technician to join our team and contribute to both field data collection and technical production workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct site visits to capture measurements and scan environments.
- Perform scan surveys using Matterport scanning equipment or other hardware
- Process, organize, and validate scan data for use in plan development.
- Assist with quality control of field data, deliverables, and documentation.
- Support project coordination including scheduling site work, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project records.
- Communicate directly with clients, consultants, and contractors as needed.
- Ability to commute to project and client sites and perform site visits throughout New York City, as required for project needs.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in surveying, scanning, architectural documentation, or related technical work.
- Experience with Matterport or other 3D scanning hardware and software.
- Familiarity with point cloud processing and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ReCap, Cyclone, CloudCompare).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field and office.
Preferred (but not required):
- Coursework or certification in GIS, surveying technology, architecture, or related field.
- Experience with construction documentation or architectural workflows.
Compensation
This role offers an annual base salary ranging from $66,300 to $70,000, depending on your level of experience. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a performance bonus up to 10% and may qualify for additional discretionary bonuses based on individual, team, and company performance.
Disclaimer: Final compensation is based on experience, technical expertise, leadership scope, and alignment with role requirements. Compensation at the upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates demonstrating advanced project leadership, complex project experience, and/or professional licensure.
