We are currently looking for a full-time, experienced Investment Banking Analyst or Associate to join our growing team in Chicago. Responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Supporting deal execution including financial modeling, valuation analysis across both debt and equity transactions, market research, and organizing information into presentable formats
- Managing diligence requests, data rooms, and information flow during live transactions
- Researching relevant sector trends including operational metrics and valuation multiples
- Monitoring and tracking relevant transactions within Pederson&Co’s sector coverages
- Supporting firm business development efforts
Skills & Qualifications

- Top tier analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or similar study
- 1 to 3 years of investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, financial due diligence, or accounting experience
- High level of accounting knowledge and proficiency around 3-statement financial analysis
- Excellent writing and oral communication
- Flexibility in working extended hours and ability to learn quickly
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and intellectual curiosity
Expected Compensation: $90k – $125k Base Salary + Bonus
