Role Overview
One Physics is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development Analyst to support the Company’s continued growth through mergers and acquisitions. This individual will play a critical role across the full M&A lifecycle—from prospecting and funnel management through diligence, transaction execution, and post-close integration. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership, including the President and CEO, and meaningful ownership in value creation initiatives across a growing national healthcare services platform.
Key Responsibilities
M&A Prospecting & Funnel Management
- Identify, research, and qualify potential acquisition targets aligned with One Physics’ strategic priorities
- Maintain and actively manage the M&A pipeline, including CRM upkeep, outreach tracking, and prioritization
- Support relationship development with founders, advisors, bankers, and private equity partners
Transaction Support & Due Diligence
- Assist with financial, operational, and commercial diligence for prospective acquisitions
- Coordinate data collection, diligence requests, and third-party advisors (legal, accounting, consulting)
- Develop and review financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials
- Prepare internal investment memos and executive-level presentations
- Assist in the negotiation and preparation of core legal documentation (ex. disclosure schedules, funds flow)
Early-Stage Value Creation
- Support pre-close planning focused on synergy identification, operational improvements, and growth initiatives
- Partner with leadership to assess opportunities for cross-selling, service expansion, and margin enhancement
Integration & Project Management
- Play a hands-on role in post-acquisition integration efforts, including project tracking and milestone execution
- Coordinate across functional teams (operations, finance, HR, clinical leadership) to ensure smooth transitions
- Support integration planning, reporting, and performance monitoring
- Support the President and CEO on strategic initiatives, market assessments, and special projects as needed
- Assist with internal process development related to M&A, integration playbooks, and analytics
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, commercial banking, private equity, consulting, or a related analytical role
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative environment
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%
