JOB TITLE: Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer IV
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $93/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Summary:

Decompose aircraft-level requirements into system and component-level requirements
Develop, analyze, and validate Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) system designs and models
Lead or support system and component certification activities, including:
- System Safety Analysis (SSA)
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
Ensure traceability to regulatory requirements and resolve certification conflicts
Perform and document system-level and component-level verification and validation testing
Review supplier test plans, reports, and support test failure investigations and mitigations
Support production and in-service fleet operations
Collaborate cross-functionally with avionics, aerodynamics, safety, software, suppliers, airline customers, and regulators
Develop technical solutions and issue dispositions to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
5–7 years of professional experience working with flight control systems
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
