Field Sales Representative – Goodyear Belts Automotive

We are now seeking a motivated, field-based sales professional to help expand our presence within our local market and establish Goodyear Belts as the go-to will-call source for urgent belt needs.
Position Overview
This is a field-based, relationship-driven sales role focused on developing local business within the South Florida area. The ideal candidate is an ambitious sales professional who thrives in a fully field-based role, engaging directly with installers and parts stores, opening new accounts efficiently, and driving revenue through in-person relationship building. Your mission is to position Goodyear Belts as the preferred local source for immediate product availability among installers and parts stores.
Key Responsibilities
Local Field Sales & Business Development
- Prospect and call on Goodyear-branded installers and automotive parts stores within a defined local territory
- Focus on accounts that benefit from same-day will-call pickup, allowing customers to place an order and get a vehicle back on the road as soon as possible
- Establish Goodyear Belts as the local emergency and gap-fill source for parts stores when items are not stocked
Account Setup & Relationship Management
- Open new customer accounts quickly and efficiently in the field
- Facilitate credit card / P-card account setup on-site within minutes
- Act as your own customer service point of contact and own the relationship end-to-end
Pricing & Market Strategy
- Sell within Goodyear-only pricing structures designed to protect the long-term market and support future expansion
- Work with internal teams to ensure pricing remains competitive without disrupting downstream parts-store relationships
Operations & Tools
- Use GYB2B as your primary sales and catalog platform from day one
- Educate customers on product availability, pickup process, and catalog access
- Coordinate closely with warehouse staff to ensure smooth, accurate will-call fulfillment
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and performance oriented, someone who wants to build something and earn it
- Prior experience in the automotive aftermarket, parts sales, or installer-focused sales
- Comfortable being in the field on a day-to-day basis
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to walk into shops and start conversations
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
