Job Title: Trainee, Supply Chain
Reports to: Senior Planner, Distribution
Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. By working closely with the Supply Chain team, the Trainees support the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day-to-day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees will collaborate cross-functionally to develop initiatives to improve business results and present a project to the Executive Leadership Team.
Job responsibilities
Tasks & Responisbilties
Build and manage demand planning projects including seasonal, channel, and classification analysis:
- Manage weekly recaps based on LW and MTD / YTD business trends.
- Create and maintain reports to monitor sales performance by channel.
Support Demand Planning Monthly Forecast Process
- Provide recommendations for Supply Chain monthly forecast based on current trend for seasonal and permanent.
- Create monthly presentations for forecast reviews comparing current forecast vs. last month by category and retail group.
- Support the team during buying session (analysis on last season’s performance, forecast recommendation for new product, cannibalization analysis).
Co-managed Distribution Category
- Responsible for maintaining optimal inventory to prevent both stock-outs and overstocking, coordinating product launches, and managing allocations for limited-availability items.
- Partner with merchandising team to fulfill VIP client requests / reserves.
- Follow-up on client reservation and conversion to ensure maximum sales.
- Support store to store inventory transfers based on business need.
- Support store stock requests and communicate delivery timelines.
- Partner with Central team on crucial production updates.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of prior experience
- Full-time, 12-month program from July 2026 through July 2027
- Available to work M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (mainly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal and external groups
- Strong time management skills and prioritization
- Ability to multitask and show flexibility across priorities
- Experience with building and using Power BI
- Ability to operate all equipment and programs necessary to perform the job
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential, controversial, and sensitive nature
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization
Profile
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
