What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from an accredited college.
- 3–5 years of graphic design experience in an advertising agency, marketing/PR firm, or in-house agency.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to break new ground with big ideas.
- Passion for human-centered problem solving and discovering true user needs.
- Ability to build brand equity through adherence to brand guidelines while meeting business objectives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative decisions and point of view.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite with an understanding of graphic and web design principles.
- Understanding of current web technologies (HTML, CSS) and social media platforms.
- Digital illustration and animation experience (highly preferred).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting critical timelines.
- Experience collaborating with senior creatives, including photo/video, web, print teams, and strategists.
- Ability to own projects from start to finish while welcoming feedback and collaboration.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative experience.
- Confidence in skill sets with flexibility to explore new and creative problem-solving approaches.
What You’ll Do:Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Team Lead, Senior Designers, and others to transform concepts into visual executions that articulate the Georgia Power brand and meet business objectives.
- Design a wide range of digital and print assets, including advertising, web and email assets, banner ads, signage, presentations, environmental graphics, and other media for internal and external audiences.
- Present work for review by Creative Team Lead, Senior Designers, and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final assets.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring brand integrity across all channels and assets.
- Deliver projects that are accurate, timely, and aligned with Georgia Power’s brand voice.
- Share creative insights openly and contribute to a strong creative culture.
- Develop an understanding of the energy business and apply that knowledge to design work.
- Stay current with industry technologies, trends, tools, and best practices.
