Job Description
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is the strategic leader for all digital marketing related activities supporting The Peninsula New York driving awareness, consideration and bookings for rooms, restaurants and food and beverage outlets, spa, events and more. The role includes hands-on coordination of website content, social media, graphic design and building meaningful connections with potential guests through creative and innovative online strategies.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for designing all marketing assets, menus and collateral using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Manage The Peninsula New York’s social media accounts and develop social media content calendars, social posts and maintain paid social ads.
- Accountable for all photography and videography content creation following Head Office Corporate and Brand Guidelines.
- Manage and coordinate photo shoots and all content management.
- Shoot and edit all photos and videos/reels each month for digital content.
- Manage influencer relationships and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with website and tablet content updates using our CMS systems and manage all website QA issues.
- Measure and report performance of all digital and marketing reports according to goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Assist with website ADA projects and ensure content uploaded to website adheres to web accessibility guidelines shared by Head Office to ensure WCAG AA 2.1 standards are maintained.
- Maintain web presence on third party platforms (TripAdvisor, OTAs etc).
- Manage charity and donation requests, along with gift certificates and tracking.
- Handling all Marketing invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with internal departments, head office teams, sister hotels and external partners on projects as needed.
General Requirements
- 3-4 years proven working experience in digital marketing
- Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator required
- Strong experience in creating landing pages in CMS systems
- Demonstrated experience with CRM tools, email platforms and databases
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- HTML and InDesign experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
