Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and enhancing internal applications using Retool
- Implement new features and enhancements based on an existing backlog
- Write and maintain JavaScript logic for UI behavior, data transformations, and workflows
- Work with SQL queries and APIs to connect applications to backend data sources
- Collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to understand requirements
- Participate in testing, debugging, and documentation of solutions
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of software development experience or equivalent coursework/projects
- Working knowledge of JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
- Familiarity with databases and SQL concepts
- Exposure to REST APIs and JSON data structures
- Interest in low‑code/no‑code platforms (Retool experience is a plus, but not required)
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
