Role Overview
As a
Wealth Management Analyst at Vista, you’ll play a key role in supporting advisors with analytical insights, investment and planning research, and portfolio performance analysis. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy structured analytical work and want to grow their expertise in wealth management, financial modeling, and client reporting.
You will work closely with financial planners, investment teams, and operations staff to help deliver best-in-class financial planning and investment solutions. You’ll translate data into actionable insights that help advisors make informed decisions and deliver superior client experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct Investment & Market Research: Analyze investment options, asset classes, and market trends to support portfolio construction and advisor recommendations.
- Financial Modeling & Analytics: Build, maintain, and refine financial models (e.g., for retirement planning, cash flow projections, risk analysis, and performance scenarios).
- Portfolio Support: Assist with asset allocation analysis, performance tracking, portfolio rebalancing recommendations, and risk profiling.
- Client Reporting: Prepare clear and professional client deliverables including performance summaries, valuation reports, and analytical insights.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with advisors, paraplanners, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of planning solutions and data accuracy.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all analyses and reports comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Required Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Proficiency with Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and financial planning or analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro).
- Familiarity with investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income) and portfolio theory.
- Prior experience in a financial services or investment support role.
