Position Summary
The Accountant reports to the Director of Accounting Services and Reporting and performs financial duties using a broad knowledge of economic and financial information and an advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications. Responsibilities include monitoring University endowment and private scholarship funds and all Foundation funds to include gift reconciliations, investment income calculations/distributions, endowment spending plan calculations, misclassified expense/revenue analysis, monthly Foundation bank reconciliation, Foundation financial statements, assist in preparation of University statements, and providing support to the Director of Accounting Services, Controller, and Associate Vice President for Budget & Finance as needed. The Accountant 2 will provide support to the grants accountant (invoicing, reporting, review).
