We are looking for a versatile Application Platform / DevOps Engineer to support an IT organization within a Japanese financial services firm in the Americas.
This role focuses on application platform operations, development support, and migration initiatives, working closely with multiple application teams in an Agile environment.
This position requires a broad technical skill set, hands-on mindset, and the ability to flexibly support various tools and processes across the application lifecycle.
︎ Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for application platforms, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Support application development initiatives, including coordination with multiple application teams.
- Manage and support DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, container-based environments, and release processes
- Support frequent application releases in an Agile development environment
- Utilize GitHub for module management and application operational support
- Support front-office and middle-office applications across the Americas (primarily web-based and microservices)
︎ Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Broad experience across application platform operations, development support, and migration projects
- Strong understanding of the full SDLC, with hands-on experience completing at least two full development cycles
- Experience working in Agile development environments with frequent releases
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple application teams
- Strong communication skills in English

- Experience with DevOps-related technologies such as:
o GitHub / GitHub Actions
