GRAVICOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our government customer. This role involves working closely with government engineers to design and develop computer based test systems and RF systems while working with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
Test Design & Development:
- Computer based systems and test systems development and testing.
- Define radar subsystem test requirements and develop RF test systems.
- Design multi-functional test stations for RF systems and digital controls.
- Automate test stations using software interfaces for data collection and analysis.
- Conduct tests necessary to analyze, redesign, or modify equipment to improve test capability
- Evaluate Electronic Counter Measure system/subsystem's performance from guidelines, specifications, and performance requirements
Analysis & Documentation
- Analyze test data to evaluate test system and RF specification parameters.
- Write and update performance requirements to adapt to changing needs.
- Document testing processes for sustainability and compliance.
- Develop test set verification plans, calibration support.
- Perform calibration support.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work with team in RF testing and development projects.
- Work alongside government engineers in designing automated test systems.
- Write technical papers and develop Technical Data Packages (TDP).
Hardware & Software Development
- Review and propose enhancements for existing hardware.
- Work with tools such as Vector Network Analyzers, RF amplifiers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Utilize MATLAB and object-oriented programming for development tasks.
- Use Windows and Linux systems to facilitate digital controls and test systems.
Qualifications
Experience
- Three (3) years relative experience in RF test design and development.
- Experience with Vector Network Analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF amplifiers, and RF test fixtures
- Experience MATLAB and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency with RF test equipment and automation
- Experience in Windows / Linux systems and interfaces, software, hardware, and firmware.
- Knowledge of DoD radar or Electronic Warfare systems preferred
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active Secret Clearance required or eligibility to obtain and maintain it (interim clearance may be required before starting).
Other
- Ability to travel and work aboard U.S. Navy ships.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
