Foxlink is expanding its business by launching a new manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Foxlink Texas Inc. will produce SMT (Surface‐Mount Technology) electronic products. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Packaging Technology Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end packaging development process, from initial NPI (New Product Introduction) through to mass production (MP). You will ensure that all product packaging is cost-effective, sustainable, and capable of protecting our high-value products throughout the global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Evaluation & Implementation: Evaluate, optimize, and execute packaging design solutions for new and existing products.
- Prototyping: Lead the creation and verification of engineering samples to ensure structural integrity and dimensional accuracy.
- Reliability & FACA: Conduct product reliability verification and perform FACA (Failure Analysis and Corrective Actions) to resolve any packaging-related issues.
- Documentation Management: Create, issue, and maintain technical system documentation for both NPI and MP phases.
- BOM & DOE: Manage packaging BOMs (Bill of Materials) and develop DOE (Design of Experiments) plans to validate material performance and cost-down initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- Experience:
- 1–2 years of professional experience as a Packaging Engineer.
- Fresh graduates majoring in Packaging Engineering with strong academic or internship records are highly encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with packaging materials (corrugated, foam, plastics) and manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of testing standards (e.g., ISTA, ASTM).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ArtiosCAD) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent cross-functional communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
