Smithbucklin, a 100 percent employee-owned association management company, is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join the Creative Services team in our Chicago office. The Junior Graphic Designer will partner with creative and marketing staff to support the visual communication strategy of our not-for-profit client organizations by assisting with the creation of high impact, brand-consistent designs intended to engage, attract and sell for print, digital and video media. What You Will Do
- You will have a critical support role in the design functions of our Creative Services team, with the opportunity to collaborate with our creative directors, art directors, and designers through the conceptualization, development and production of a range of print and digital projects, to include:
- Various theme designs, meeting programs and promotional materials, onsite signage, print and electronic publications, videos, social media, websites, logos, mobile applications, banner ads, interactive campaigns, infographics and other solutions
- You will be encouraged to explore and share new knowledge about trends, tools, and techniques in print and digital graphic design

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution with a concentration in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience, to include hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Preferred Qualifications
- Working proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects is a plus
- Familiarity with Figma is a plus
- Proficiency with basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Our hybrid environment offers you the option to work from home two days per week. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.
Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $56,000.
