Role Description
This full-time on-site role for an International Sales Manager is based in St Paul, MN. You will be responsible for managing and growing partnerships with international clients and carriers while driving revenue growth. Tasks include developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, creating price responses to bid opportunities, monitoring industry trends, and coordinating closely with operational teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. You will also represent GlobeRunners in client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen the company’s market presence.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills, with the ability to achieve revenue growth targets
- Proficiency in market research and data analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders effectively
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries, with knowledge of both ocean and air freight
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in price calculation and bid negotiations for strong profit development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
- Previous experience in international sales or related roles is highly preferred
- Fluency in additional languages is an advantage
