Marketing & Sales Coordinator – Technical Products
We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to support both marketing and sales efforts for a growing manufacturing company. This role involves learning our product line and assisting with social media marketing, website content creation, technical documents (sell sheets, manuals, brochures), and general brand development. The position also includes light sales and administrative duties such as cold calling, following up on past estimates, answering phones, and capturing new customer information.
The ideal candidate is organized, creative, comfortable on the phone, and able to quickly understand technical products. Experience with social media, basic graphic design tools (Canva/Adobe), Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred. This is a multi-hat role suited for a self-starter who enjoys both creative work and customer interaction in a fast-growing business environment.
1. Marketing / Creative Skills
- Social media content creation (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts)
- Basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop)
- Copywriting/technical writing
- Website content writing (SEO basics helpful)
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them simply
- Photography / short-form video skills are a huge bonus for product demos
2. Sales & Customer Support Skills
- Cold calling comfort and confidence
- Professional phone etiquette
- CRM experience
- Follow-up discipline
- Ability to ask qualifying questions and log customer data accurately
3. Administrative / Operations Skills
- Document formatting (Word, Google Docs, PDFs)
- Creating sell sheets, brochures, and manuals
- File organization
- Basic data entry
- Email management
4. Technical / Product Familiarity
- Mechanical aptitude or curiosity
- Ability to read drawings or spec sheets
- Comfort asking clarifying questions
- Attention to detail
We are looking for someone that has experience with the following software/tools
- Canva or Adobe Express
- Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Basic CRM system
- Social media schedulers (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later)
- WordPress / Webflow basics helpful
- PDF editors
- Spreadsheet proficiency
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
