As a Junior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders, analyzing current business processes to identify areas for improvement, and developing and proposing solutions to address business needs. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding, analyze data to support decision-making and identify trends, and create detailed documentation, including business cases, process flows, and functional specifications. Additionally, you will provide insights and recommendations using developed and maintained reports and dashboards in Power BI. Your role will also involve identifying and assessing risks associated with trading processes, collaborating with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to understand their data and analysis needs, and staying updated with the latest developments in Capital Markets and economic indicators to support strategic decision-making and market positioning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Derivative Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analysis of commodity processing, including onboarding and trade lifecycle management, and regulatory reporting.
- Reporting and Visualization
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to present trade analysis in Power BI
- Use data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Risk Management
- Identify and assess risks associated with Capital Markets initiatives.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and support risk management initiatives.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, technology, front office traders and other stakeholders to understand their data and analysis needs.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Research and Insights
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Capital Markets.
- Conduct research to support strategic decision-making and market positioning

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (PREFERRED):
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (OPTIONAL) and/or 1 year of experience in business analysis or a related role.
