Position Summary
The Communication Specialist supports the planning, development, and execution of marketing communications and events that strengthen brand visibility and stakeholder engagement. This role partners with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality content, manage event logistics, and ensure consistent internal and external messaging across channels.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Develop and coordinate internal and external communications, including email campaigns, presentations, newsletters, web content, and social media materials
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication deliverables
- Collaborate with creative, media, and leadership teams to support marketing strategies and campaigns
- Track, analyze, and report on communication and campaign performance metrics
Event Coordination & Execution
- Plan and execute marketing and corporate events, including trade shows, conferences, internal meetings, award ceremonies, and client or employee events
- Coordinate event logistics such as vendor management, venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, and on-site support
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event reporting
- Support multiple concurrent events while meeting deadlines and milestones
Project & Stakeholder Support
- Provide project management support for marketing and communications initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely and successful execution
- Support leadership with communication materials, presentations, and event planning needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in communications, marketing coordination, or event planning
- Demonstrated experience supporting conferences, trade shows, or large-scale events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common marketing or project management tools
