This role focuses on developing safe, efficient structural solutions for equipment platforms, heavy pipe support systems, and architectural steel components within high-tech facility projects. You’ll partner closely with multi-discipline engineering teams, interpreting redlines, generating detailed models, and ensuring structural integrity across fast-paced, large-scale industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel systems including platforms, pipe supports, equipment anchorage, stairs, and related components.
- Review, interpret, and incorporate redlines, ensuring all deliverables meet project standards and applicable codes.
- Support field teams by resolving design issues, evaluating load paths, and providing engineered solutions for complex conditions.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, construction partners, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely execution of structural work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
- PE licensure required
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience, ideally supporting high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor, or advanced industrial facilities.
- Proficiency with RISA for steel analysis and design.
- Experienced in SolidWorks and Revit for modeling and documentation.
- Strong understanding of equipment anchorage, steel framing, and large-diameter pipe support design.
- Ability to evaluate loads, perform hand calculations, and support code-compliant solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
