Scenic View Landscape & Design Specialists is a family-owned, high-end landscape and hardscape design-build company based in Keyport, NJ. We specialize in custom outdoor spaces and pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, creativity, and a hands-on, personal approach — not a corporate environment.
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Designer to join our growing team. This role is well suited for both experienced designers and designers earlier in their careers who are eager to be involved in the full design-build process.
Who This Role Is For
- A Designer with formal education and/or professional experience in landscape architecture or landscape design

What You’ll Do
- Design custom hardscape and landscape projects for residential clients
- Create construction and presentation drawings using CAD / Sketchup
- Read and interpret property surveys, plot plans, and site information
- Prepare layouts and drawings for permit and zoning applications
- Use Realtime Landscape Architect 2025 (this is what we use; training available)
- Collaborate closely with project managers, sales, and field teams
- Participate in client meetings and design presentations
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or coursework in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related field, and/or relevant professional experience
- Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD / Sketchup
- Ability to read surveys, site plans, and grading plans
- Familiarity with zoning and permit processes (or willingness to learn)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Sales or client-facing experience is a bonus, but not required

Pay & Benefits
- $50,000 – $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience
