Hourly Rate: $40 - $47 per hour
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
A design department undergoing significant workflow changes is seeking a Web Developer to support overflow projects. Their internal developer is experiencing a high volume of work, and they need an additional resource who can quickly step in, update pages, build new ones, and transform concepts into clean, user friendly web experiences.
The initial contract is expected to last about 90 days, with the potential to convert to full time. If converted, the role becomes hybrid with three days onsite each week and flexibility in choosing which days.
- UX and UI experience
- Strong WordPress experience
- Ability to translate goals and concepts into polished visual outcomes
- Flexible, easygoing, and fast working style
- Update existing website pages and create new pages
- Work within WordPress and similar page builders (BeaverBuilder experience is a plus)
- Translate goals, concepts, and ideas into thoughtful, visually appealing designs
- Collaborate using tools such as HubSpot and Asana to track tasks
- Maintain speed, quality, and adaptability in a fast paced environment
- Strong understanding of layout, UX, UI, and user flow
- Hands on WordPress experience
- Ability to rapidly turn ideas into clean, usable web pages
- Easygoing, adaptable, and efficient work style
- Comfort working independently and supporting an overloaded team
