At Interior Solutions, we design and deliver environments that move work forward — from healthcare labs and police departments to classrooms, museums, and corporate offices. For 36 years, we’ve partnered with institutional clients who can’t afford to get it wrong.
We are seeking a Commercial Interior Designer who thrives on detail, collaboration, and purpose-driven work. This is not a residential design role. This is institutional, technical, and impact-focused design — where your work supports public safety, education, healthcare, and government operations.
If you want your designs to function as beautifully as they look, read on!
What You’ll Do
You will partner with sales, project managers, and clients to design spaces that are both inspiring and operationally sound.
Core Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams from concept through installation
- Specify commercial furniture and specialized storage systems
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements
- Support bid responses and proposal development
- Conduct site visits and field measurements
- Participate in client presentations and design reviews
- Maintain accuracy across specifications, budgets, and timelines
You will help design spaces for:
- Education facilities
- Healthcare environments
- Government agencies
- Public safety and military installations

What Makes This Role Different

- Detailed coordination
- High accountability
- Technical design rigor

- Strong follow-through
We focus outward to improve inward — as individuals, as a company, and in the service we provide.
