Civil Engineer – Full Time

About the Position
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Durant, Oklahoma. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on design work, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully across a wide range of project types. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil engineering designs and plans for site development, commercial and residential projects, and public infrastructure
- Design water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities, including layout, grading, drainage, and environmental processes
- Support municipal engineering, local government, and Tribal government projects, including capital improvements, master planning, permitting, and plan reviews
- Produce construction documents, reports, and technical calculations
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, Tribal entities, and regulatory agencies
- Assist with project management tasks, scheduling, and quality control
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. ABET‑accredited program
- Strong understanding of civil site design, utilities, and general engineering principles
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small‑team environment
- Motivated to excel and succeed in a professional field
Other Requirements:
Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and site visits as assigned.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
U.S. Citizen
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT certification or ability to obtain it
- Experience with Oklahoma municipal standards, ODEQ permitting, or Tribal development processes
- Prior internship or professional experience in civil/site design
